Program Advisory Committee

We are looking for arts and technology advisors from Western, Northern, Central and Eastern Canada with expertise in the visual, performing, media, literary, multi/integrated, Indigenous, and Disability arts, information technology, and other disciplines to ensure the program planning for DASSAN19 represents and responds to Canada’s diverse community needs. Send a 2-page CV and a brief letter of interest to proposals@DigitalASO. All advisors will receive an honoraria.
Hackathon + Salon

Four selected projects will compete for a $5,000 prize during our 3-day hackathon competition. Unsuccessful proposals will have a chance to be selected for a Salon-style presentation of their ideas during the Symposium. Must be a Canadian resident.

Ignite Presentations + Pitches

A short presentation on any topic relevant to digital transformation of arts services with maximum 20 slides, 15 seconds per slide. Open to Canadian and international presenters.

Are you a Canadian individual or organization that has received support from the Canada Council for the Arts’ Digital Strategy Fund, or other digital strategy funding in Canada? Would you like to have a chance to share a short presentation on your project mandate, activities, desired (and actual) impacts for the purpose of soliciting greater networks for your project and shared learning? The Digital Strategy Fund Zone is your chance!
Proposals will continue to be welcomed after the posted deadlines above. However, there is no guarantee that late submissions will be accepted.
